CONSTRUCTION AND ENGINEERING PRODUCTS

CONPLAST SP 430

Superplasticising, strength accelerating admixture.

Complies with BS5075 and ASTM C494 types A and F.

To produce highly fluid self levelling concrete. Very high early and ultimate strengths, reduced permeability and reduced segregation. Ideal for precast operations, marine concrete, concrete pumping and concrete in areas of extremely congested reinforcement and areas where early strength gains are required.

For flowing or high workability concrete - 0.70 - 1.30 litres/100 kgs of cementitious material. For high strength and high early strength - 0.70 - 2.0 litres/100 kgs of cementitious material.

CONPLAST SP 423

Superplasticising, extended workability, concrete admixture.

Complies with BS5075 and ASTM C494 type G

To produce highly workable and flowing concrete, with a very high degree of workability retention.  Ideal for Readymix operations where slump retention is required. Increased cohesion and rheology results in a concrete that is ideal for pumping in very difficult situations, i.e. in long or high pumps in high ambient conditions.

0.35 - 0.42 litres/100 kgs of cementitious material.

CONPLAST SP 337

High performance water reducing admixture

Complies with BS5075 part 3, & ASTM C494 type A, F & G.

To significantly reduce the water demand of a concrete mix without affecting workability, allowing greatly increased early and ultimate strengths without additional cement. To significantly improve the workability of concrete withour increasing water. Particularly suitable for increasing workability of Readymixed concrete at elavated temperatures. To reduce concrete permeability and thus reduce water penatration and increase durability.

For flowing or high workability concrete - 0.50 - 1.0 litres/100 kgs of cementitious material. For high strength and high early strength - 0.50 - 1.5 litres/100 kgs of cementitious material.

CONPLAST P211

Normal setting water reducing plasticiser.

Complies with BS5075 part 1 and ASTM C494 type A.

To produce increased workability without loss of strength, increased strength without loss of workability, or cement reduction without loss of workability or strength. Ideally suited for any concreting operation - Readymix, site batched, precast yards, block plants, etc.

0.28 - 0.42 litres/100 kgs of cementitious material.

CONPLAST RP264

Retarding and water reducing plasticiser.

Complies with BS5075 part 2 and ASTM C494 type B and D.

To produce increased workability concrete, with increased cohesion and set-retardation. Produces increased workability without loss of strength, increased strength without loss of workability, or cement reduction without loss of workability or strength. Ideal for Readymix plants for normal or extended runs, or for site operations, to avoid cold joints and assist pumping and placing.

0.28 - 0.60 litres/100 kgs of cementitious material.

CONPLAST X421

Integral concrete "waterproofing" admixture.

A concrete admixture to produce concrete of increased density and reduced porosity.

6.0 litres per cubic meter of concrete.

CONPLAST UW

Anti-washout agent for underwater concreting.

An admixture to be used in conjunction with CONPLAST 430 to produce a concrete that is flowing and highly workable and cohesive, and is resistant to "wash-out" of the fines and cement when placed under water, in moving or tidal water. Enables the concrete to be pumped or tremied. Retardation allows for concrete to be moved on barges or pumped a long distance without setting.

0.8 kg - 1.0 kg/100 kgs of cement.

CONPLAST AE 300

Air Entraining Agent

Complies with ASTM C260, BS5075 part 2, and BS4887 part 1.

To product air entrained concrete. To improve cohesion and workability of concrete mixes where poorly graded aggregates must be used, and to help in avoiding bleeding, segregation and sand runs.

As a guide 0.08 litres/100kg of cement
